MIRELA offers concrete solutions for living and growing old healthily in shared housing. It is a project supported by the Mauril Bélanger Social Innovation Workshop that offers an alternative to citizens of all ages and backgrounds, to develop themselves, to find affordable housing and to help each other to reduce their social isolation and live better together.
As part of a university course, we had to create a factitious design agency “Black Umbrella” composed of 3 people and develop all its branding. Afterwards we had the chance to work with the Mirela team to develop the visual identity for the launch of their communication campaign. We had to create : Business card, letterhead, flyer, cotton bag, masks, Facebook banner. With a target audience of People aged 50 and over, young adults over 18 and network partners.
This social entrepreneurship project was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Desjardins bank during a contest. The branding reflecting the professionalism of the team was a major asset in this contest.
